Physician Supervised

  • Your initial visit to our Physician supervised weight loss program is a 90-minute consultation with a Physician and Weight Loss Coach, which includes a physical exam, EKG, blood work, urinalysis, body composition analysis, and a coaching session.
  • The Physician will review your medical history, screening results, and body composition analysis to ensure you are otherwise healthy to begin a weight loss program.*
  • The Physician will evaluate if an FDA-approved prescription or non-prescription appetite suppressant is appropriate for you and if so what type.
  • On a weekly basis we will monitor your vital signs and body composition analysis to ensure your health, safety, and that you are consistently losing fat mass.
  • Consider it the foundation on which the architecture of your new, healthier body will be built!

Personal Coaching

  • It’s very easy to slip into bad habits and eat unhealthy food. Most people are unsuccessful at losing weight because they are not able to remain on the right track for long enough, even though they have the right knowledge to support themselves.
  • You need to have a very strong inner will to want to change your mind and create healthier eating habits; a lot of people are so busy with daily life and their families they need outside support to do this.
  • The staff at ThinWorks Weight Loss Centers will support you each step of the way on your medical weight loss program—we’re here through the ups and the downs. You will learn lifelong tools to help you incorporate healthy eating habits and recognize your body’s responses to food.
  • A weight loss coach will walk you through your diet and exercise plan and outline every step along the way. It will be important that you come to each of your weekly visits, at which time your weight loss coach will help monitor your progress and make adjustments, while encouraging you on your way to your goal weight. You are on your way!

Targeted Fat Burning

  • ThinWorks’ weight loss program provides you with menu plans and detailed shopping lists, enabling you to make healthy food choices while shopping at your local grocery store.
  • You will learn to avoid foods that may be advertised as healthy, but are actually packed with carbohydrates and processed ingredients.
  • The Weight Loss Coach will train you to recognize appropriate serving sizes that will help you keep the weight off. You will learn to eat healthy foods, while getting better nutrition.
  • You will stay on track by keeping a food journal detailing your calories, protein, carbs, fat, fluid intake, and exercise.
