About The Author

Dr. Bacha is a Board Certified General Surgeon at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center who specializes in Bariatric Surgery. He is the Medical Director of the Center for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery at PBGMC. Dr. Bacha is a member of both the American Society of Bariatric Physicians as well as American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

As a bariatric surgery patient himself who has lost over 100 pounds and kept it off, Dr. Bacha understands the challenges needed to not only lose the weight but to successfully maintain long-term weight loss. He adds insight for patients to help them achieve their weight loss goals through personal changes related to nutrition, behavior, and physical activity.
